Kids love Weekapaug Inn. With activities ranging from the pool and beach, to crabbing and exploring the tideline, the Inn offers a surplus of out-in-the-fresh-air fun. We have a big, beautiful grassy back yard, lawn games, Nature Craft programs, bikes, boats, kites, fishing poles and a super safe community for family fun.
Kids also love the dynamic young staff at the Boathouse. They are a bit like camp counselors. Crew members are well trained and are overseen by our Director of Recreation. Captain Mark, as kids often know him, has decades of experience on the water, a U.S. Coastguard captain’s rating and a lifetime of finding fun on and around our lagoon. Whether your kids are interested in crabbing, crafts, rockets, or yard games, we will work hard to ensure they have a fun and educational experience.

During the summer, we offer a beachside escape for children to foster friendships, make memories and have fun while at Weekapaug Inn. SandCastles, the children’s program for guests of Weekapaug Inn and Ocean House, invites children ages 5–10 to participate in afternoon and evening programs at Ocean House, Weekapaug Inn's sister property, which are led by professional counselors from the YMCA, our partners in this endeavor. Each day is inspired by a unique theme — a new adventure to conquer and experience. SandCastles combines artistic and intellectual enrichment with physical and outdoor activities. Afternoon programs may feature scavenger hunts, hikes and walks, croquet, team building exercises, crafts and culinary education, while weekend evening programs have children relaxing with dinner and a movie. Reservations should be reserved seven days in advance; openings on shorter notice may or may not be available. To make reservations, please call (855) 679-2995 or email DestinationServices@WeekapaugInn.com.
