You can do something different every day in Weekapaug.
Our private ocean beach offers two miles of white sand shore, for swimming in the summer, and for long walks in cooler seasons, when the sand compacts and creates a smooth surface for a memorable hike.
Sail Quonochontaug Pond in one of our beautifully restored wooden Beetle Cats, a traditional Inn vessel and a local favorite. Take an evening cruise in our powerboat. Put a kayak in the water; with the help of our full time staff naturalist, you can plot a paddle designed to your liking.
Grab some binoculars off the porch; scout for the herons and egrets in warm weather, and the rafts of ducks when it’s cold. Book a fishing excursion that leaves from a spot you can easily walk to from the Inn. Our wildlife is beautiful and accessible.
If you love to cycle, you’re in luck. The Inn keeps its own fleet of bicycles and helmets, designed for the spectacular but undemanding terrain around Weekapaug. We’re surrounded by gentle roads for leisurely trips, and it’s easy to explore some exciting attractions that are within a fairly short pedal from the Inn—including the many enticing offerings of the Ocean House, our sister property.
Put together a game of shuffleboard or bocce, played here for more than a hundred years, on the Inn courts. Swim in our saline pool. And, if you’re so inclined, you don’t have to do anything at all. Our porch rocking chairs, cozy sofas, and world-class comfortable guest room beds are great places to curl up with a book, or just sit and watch the world go by on the sea and in the sky that surrounds you.
There are so many ways to enjoy the Weekapaug Inn, including the ones you’ll think of on your own. If you’ve got an idea, we can help you make it happen.
