From exquisitely prepared meals in The Restaurant–our main dining room, to Thursday night clambakes on the shore, to sandwiches and lemonade at the beach, food is an important part of the Weekapaug Inn experience. Our executive chef, Jennifer Backman, works with her staff and with nearby sources, to obtain the best in seasonal, locally raised and harvested produce, meat and seafood for our varied menu.
With dishes inspired by the Mediterranean and Yankee New England roots of traditional Rhode Island cuisine, our comfortably elegant Restaurant is open to members of the surrounding community as well as our guests. Our Garden Room is a central gathering spot, with a bar and plenty of comfortable seating for socializing with a beverage, or stopping by for traditional afternoon refreshment.
As part of your stay, a generous breakfast in The Restaurant is a treasured ritual at the Inn, but you don’t even have to leave your room on lazy mornings; you can also order in from our selection of continental breakfast items. For a between-meal craving, walk a few steps, and you’ll find treats every day, all day, in the guest pantry. And if you’re planning an outing, let us know the night before, and the kitchen can pack a picnic lunch for you and your party.
