Situated on the outskirts of Westerly, Rhode Island, Weekapaug Inn is located on the southern end of the Rhode Island coastline, just miles away from the Connecticut border. The Inn also organizes tours to many points of interest: Sachuest Point, Block Island, Wickford Harbor, Hazard Rocks, Point Judith and Mystic. Trips meet up at the Inn and travel in our custom shuttles.

Watch Hill

The 1856 Lighthouse shapes the skyline; inviting streets are lined with boutiques and galleries, antique shops and restaurants. The famed Flying Horse Carousel is the oldest continuously operating carousel in the country; the hand-carved horses have leather saddles and vibrant eyes, and riders reach for a brass ring in hopes of winning another ride. Mystic

Mystic was founded in 1654 and quickly rose to prominence as a shipbuilding center during the clipper ship era. The quaint riverside town has become known for its quintessential New England charm, vibrant downtown, as well as its two world-class museums: the Mystic Seaport, the world’s largest maritime museum; and the Mystic Aquarium, featuring fascinating creatures from both sea and land.

Block Island

Block Island, just twelve miles from coastal Rhode Island, offers visitors what does not seem possible anymore – simple relaxation in a startling beautiful place. Stonington Borough

Just ten minutes from the Mystic drawbridge lies Stonington Borough, called “the most beautiful seaside village in New England.” Because the Borough is a narrow, mile-long peninsula pointing into Fisher’s Island Sound and Little Narragansett Bay, nothing is more than a short walk from your car or boat. The Borough is home to wonderful restaurants, sophisticated bistros, popular coffee and sandwich shops, delis, and many unique stores, boutiques and galleries.

Clyde’s Cider Mill in Mystic

Tucked away on a winding country road in Old Mystic, is the only remaining steam-powered cider mill in the United States, B.F. Clyde’s Cider Mill. The Clyde family has been making cider here since 1881, and the sixth generation of the family continues to produce cider at this National Historic Landmark that is truly an engineering marvel.

Jonathan Edwards Winery

Located in the quaint town of North Stonington, Jonathan Edwards Winery is situated on a beautiful 48-acre hilltop. Jonathan Edwards handcrafts both premium Napa Valley, California and Estate Connecticut wines to highlight each coasts’ unique climate. Visitors are encouraged to sample the wines in the tasting room set in the restored 1880 dairy barn and, gift shop and beautiful vineyard grounds.

Saltwater Farm Vineyard

Saltwater Farm is an award-winning vineyard set on more than 100 panoramic acres – fifteen of which are planted with six varieties of grapes – bordered by tidal marshes, a cove and vistas of Long Island Sound, near the historic New England coastal village of Stonington.

Stonington Vineyards

Stonington Vineyards, a founding member of the Connecticut Wine Trail, is best known for its barrel fermented Chardonnay and its proprietary blends Seaport White and Triad Rose. The Vineyards also produce Vidal Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Cabernet Franc.

Watch Hill Lighthouse & Museum

The Watch Hill Light has served the seafaring community of Watch Hill and its neighbors for over 200 years. Within the museum, visitors have the opportunity to view letters, bills and journals that offer insight as to how the lighthouse keepers lived and worked in the facility.

Mystic Seaport

Mystic Seaport: The Museum of America and the Sea is the nation’s leading maritime museum. Explore American maritime history first-hand as you climb aboard historic tall ships, stroll through a re-created 19th-century coastal village or watch a working preservation shipyard in action.

Mystic Aquarium

As New England’s hands-on aquarium, Mystic Aquarium offers unforgettable animal encounters, fun interactive experiences and dynamic learning opportunities for people of all ages. Westerly Land Trust Hiking Trails

Westerly Land Trust has acquired over 1,500 acres of land around Westerly and offers a number of marked hiking trails, as well as guided hikes and walks throughout the year.

Flying Horse Carousel

Shakespeare in the Park

Presented by Westerly’s Colonial Theatre, this popular event draws over 20,000 audience members each summer to historic Wilcox Park in downtown Westerly to experience the thrill of live, outdoor theater.

The Granite Theatre in Westerly, RI

The Chorus of Westerly performances

The Chorus of Westerly is a 190-voice chorus based at the George Kent Performance Hall. It is one of the few choruses in the United States that has children singing alongside adults for every performance of its season, regardless of work or difficulty.
