Do you have A/C?

Although the original Weekapaug Inn was not air conditioned, the Westerly, Rhode Island property has been updated with modern amenities, including air conditioning, for our guests’ comfort and enjoyment.

Do you have televisions in the guest rooms?

Televisions are available in all guest rooms.

Do you have handicap accessible guest rooms?

Yes. Guest rooms are easily accessible by elevator.

Are you a pet-friendly Inn?

Yes, We accept dogs 70 pounds and under at Weekapaug Inn.  Two dogs are allowed if their total weight does not exceed 70 pounds total.  Please be advised that we will apply a one-time fee of $195 to your bill which is applied to deep cleaning.  A portion of that fee goes to Stand Up for Animals, an organization that helps pets and families of pets in need.  Pets regretfully are not allowed in Carriage and Fenway Suites.

What time is check-in and check-out?

Check in begins at 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 12:00 p.m. We are able to take requests for both an early check in and late check out. While we are unable to guarantee early access or delayed departure, we do welcome you to arrive at the property as early as you wish on the day of your arrival. If the room is not yet available, we are happy to store your luggage while you enjoy on-site amenities, our Bathhouse (available seasonally), or a trip into town. The same applies to the day of your departure. Should a late check out be unavailable, we are happy to store your belongings while you continue to enjoy the Inn for the afternoon.

What are your deposit and cancellation policies?

Deposit Policy:

Stays September through June: For stays booked more than 14 days before arrival, we require a deposit of 35% of the stay, which goes toward your charges upon departure. For stays booked 14 days or less before arrival, we require the entire length of stay be paid in full

Stays in the last week of June through Labor Day: For stays booked more than 60 days before arrival, we require a deposit of 35% of the stay, which goes toward your charges upon departure. At 60 days before arrival, the balance of your stay will be charged and is non-refundable at the time. For stays booked 60 days or less before arrival, we require the entire length of stay be paid in full.

 

Cancellation Policy:

Stays September through June: Cancellations made more than 14 days of the arrival date will receive the return on their deposit, less a $150 administrative fee. Cancellations made within 14 of the arrival date with be charged the full cost of the reservation.

Stays in the last week of June through Labor Day: Cancellations made more than 60 days of the arrival date will receive a refund of their deposit less a $250 administrative fee. Cancellations made within 60 days of the arrival date will be charged the full cost of the reservation.

Are you open year-round?

Yes, although shortened hours of operation are observed in the winter.

Dining

Is there a dress code?

The dress code for The Restaurant is resort casual (collared shirts, Bermuda-style shorts, slacks or smart blue jeans). The Restaurant kindly asks that guests refrain from wearing flip flops or sneakers. Jackets are preferred for gentlemen, however they are not required.

Do you have a casual dining option?

The Garden Room is open for casual dining year round. In the summer months, the SeaRoom and The Lawn are also available. Guests of Weekapaug Inn can enjoy additional casual dining options at our sister property, Ocean House.

Are reservations required?

The Restaurant is the only dining outlet that accepts reservations. All other outlets welcome guests on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Activities

What types of activities do you offer?

We offer an assortment of complimentary daily resort activities for guests to enjoy during their stay. In addition to daily tours of Weekapaug Inn, activities may include nature-based outings through Westerly, Rhode Island with our Naturalist, wine tastings with our Sommelier, boating excursions, kayaking, biking, bird watching and more. Guests can also enjoy unrestricted access to complimentary daily resort activities at Ocean House, Weekapaug Inn’s sister property in nearby Watch Hill. Do I need to make reservations for activities?

Resort activities do not require reservations; however, reservations are required for all special events.

How close is the beach?

The beach is a short, three-minute walk from the Inn’s front door. It is located across the dunes from the Bathhouse.

Do you offer babysitting?

We have a staff of highly experienced babysitters and are able to arrange for their services with advanced notice.
